The Royal Latex Mattress is our firmer 7-Zone latex version. It features the same European designed, 7-Zone Talalay natural latex mattress core as the Royal Latex Quilt-Top Mattress. In the Royal Latex Mattress, the 7-Zone latex core is wrapped in layers of California grown, staple cotton padding and contained in our breathable and soft, Belgian 100% cotton covering.

Our craftsmen hand tuft the mattress with European tufting straps to pre-compress the layers of staple cotton padding to minimize body imprint, prevent shifting of materials, and provide extra support.

The 7-Zone natural latex core was designed, based upon sleep studies at the Kirschgartenclinic in Basil, Switzerland by Swiss researcher and sleep specialist, Dr. Dietrich Scheneider-Helmert. The 7-Zone design was found to provide optimal sleeping comfort and ergonomic support to all parts of the body.
Our optional 3” thick Royal-Pedic Pillowtop Pad provides extra cushioning for a softer and cozier feel, while still achieving the benefits of the zoning of the mattress. The firmness rating is a 4 when the Royal Latex Mattress is used with the Royal-Pedic Pillowtop Pad.

• Royal-Pedic Double Diamond Box Spring construction is the finest available. We provide 22% more coils than is standard for extra support and durability, and have 50% more coils located in the center-third of the box spring to support the body better (over 60% of our body weight is located in our torso area). The thickness of our coil wire is an extra heavy duty 8 3/4 gauge compared to the standard 9 ½ - 10 gauge wire. Even our box spring contains a layer of staple cotton padding for added support for the underside of the mattress. Brass corner guards are installed on all corners, rather than the plastic ones that break off easily, and heavy duty cotton fabric is used on the underside of the box spring, instead of the thin synthetic sheeting that commonly droops and frays easily. You will only get the best with Royal-Pedic!

Heights: The mattress is approximately 8" thick, and overall mattress height to the floor on our 8" thick box spring and a 7" metal frame is about 23". (optional pillowtop pads will increase overall height)
